Before Derek Kilivan opened his eyes he knew he was far from where he had lost consciousness. His hands gripped luscious clumps of dewy grass, as he slowly tried to open his eyes. A vibrant gleam of sunlight greeted his unadjusted eyes, causing him to shut them in pain. His entire body ached, but from what he had no idea. He had to get up. He had to get home. His parents were going to kill him. There had only been one other time he had stayed out until morning, and that hadn’t ended up well.
